Yep, I use subtitles when I watch movies at home.
Have you seen Gnomeo and Juliet?
You should.
"I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" in Spanish.
It's random and you'll never see it coming but once you see it,
it'll change your life.

My daughter can be a perfectionist.  Especially when it comes to her education.  I spend a lot of time telling her that you can't learn if you don't make mistakes.  Becca's youngest has this sign in her classroom.  So let's all remember that life is all about mistakes and learning from them.

I saw this sitting on the counter at
Avenue Bread
on James st this week.
This giant jar
showed me a ray of optimism
and made my Hippie Heart oh so Happy.
So if you got a minute and some extra change stop on by
and help fill the jar
and make the world a better place.

Dinosaurs Do That

Great white sharks, big storms -
somehow, I think we like to be put in our place by awesome things.
Dinosaurs do that.

I don't want to get to the end of my life
and find that I lived just

the length of it.
I want to have lived the
width of it as well.

Unexpected Fun

A nice walk can turn up fun in the most unexpected ways.
Mudflats to get dirty on, logs to climb on, or a rope swing over the river.

Labor Day

The man who doesn't relax and hoot a few hoots voluntarily,
now and then,
is in great danger of
hooting hoots and standing on his head
for the edification of the pathologist and trained nurse,
a little later on.

Nature is so powerful, so strong.
Capturing its essence is not easy
